The client
An owner-operated residential cleaning service in Southern California: a single cleaner serving 10+ nearby cities.
The problem
- No website, no booking path, and no Google presence.
- Two duplicate Facebook profiles with content more than 3 years old.
- Inconsistent branding across Facebook, Instagram, and email.
- The business domain was occupied by an unrelated site, blocking reuse.
What I did
Audit and consolidation
- Audited every existing social and email account and identified the primary account tied to Instagram and the domain.
- Mapped which services depended on each email before removing any DNS records, so nothing broke.
Domain and infrastructure
- Migrated the existing site off the business domain to free it up.
- Configured Cloudflare Email Routing so a branded address forwards to the business inbox.
- Deployed the site on Cloudflare Workers through direct API uploads, with pre-deploy syntax validation and verified incremental edits to the live script.
Website
- Designed and built a one-page responsive site, iterating from a bold graphic look to an upscale minimalist style while keeping the brand colors.
- Implemented the client's copy verbatim, and added click-to-call and click-to-text buttons for mobile visitors.
Local SEO
- Created a Google Business Profile with 10+ service-area cities, hours, and service descriptions pulled from the site.
- Linked Instagram, Facebook, and the website to the listing.
Status
- Website: live.
- Branded email: live.
- Google Business Profile: created, pending verification.
- Facebook Business Page: blocked by platform restrictions on the business-named profile, so rerouted through a personal admin account.
